If you are looking for the best 2025 Black Friday LED Device Deals, you’ve come to the right place.
Choosing between my two favorite LED masks, the Omnilux Men’s Mask and the Current Body Series 2, really boils down to your budget and personal preferences. Both are A+ masks and I love that they both strategically incorporated some 1072nm for some improved well-aging benefits.
In terms of key differences, the CB has the new under the chin strap, different placement of the 1072nm LEDs to have more of a focus under the eyes. I like the smaller mouth hole on the CB and I appreciate the under the chin strap, but I much prefer how the Omnilux lays completely flat in terms of ease of laying it on my chest or other body parts and for storing it (again, personal preference) and I like that Omnilux also put some 1072nm LED in the 11’s between my brows.
You can’t go wrong with either one!
Hard shell masks have the added benefit of needed less adjustments (just slipping on and off your head) and some people prefer how some can press less on the bridge of the nose and isn’t touching your face like a flexible mask does.
Also, seems minor, but I really like how the remote counts down to tell you how much time is left.
My Caveats about Blue Light: I don’t like to use blue light all over my face because it has the potential to cause hyperpigmentation with continued use, so I prefer to spot treat particularly bad pimples with a handheld device that has the ideal, and evidence-based, wavelengths for acne. Also, using a face mask with red and NIR wavelengths can also reduce acne and the associated redness and inflammation–and those wavelengths don’t hold the potential for hyperpigmentation. If you do go for full mask with red and blue wavelengths, keep in mind that those wavelengths are not intended to prevent acne–only to treat mild to moderate acne (and it isn’t intended for whiteheads and blackheads). AND they are only intended to treat it for a short period of time (usually no more than 3-5 times a week for 4-6 weeks). And you want something that has 410-420nm–ideally 415nm–as that has the most evidence.
Click here for a roundup up of other good devices with a blue (415nm) light mode in addition to Red (630) and NIR (830nm).
For all the devices shown in the decision tree above, click here.
All of the LED neck and chest devices in that decision tree all use evidence-based wavelengths of Red (630-635nm) and NIR (830nm) and have an evidence-based irradiance (power) and are 10 min sessions. So when it comes down to deciding between which to go with, I think it helps to consider the following:
After that, a key differentiator is the coverage/size.
Most masks are all relatively small. The HigherDose, iRestore, Current Body Series 2, and Nooance are all above average in size (the HigherDose is the largest). All of the other masks offer essentially the same coverage.
NOTE: If you have a flexible face mask, you can also just lay your LED face mask on your chest!
Higher Dose ($279 w/ code BFCM2025)
Current Body Series 2 ($336 w/ code GOALSLED)
You can also get a mitt that you have to wear for 20 min on each hand for $84
Or you can lay this small flex pad on your hand, one at a time (this pad is super versatile for $116 (after code). My parents use it on their lower back, wrapped around their ankle, or wrapped on their elbow).
If you have ankle or elbow pain that you want to target with red and NIR really easily, my family also really likes this joint wrap for $122 (after code)
