Beauty Brand Discount Codes and Deals

Discount Codes

When it comes to sales I am prone to impulse purchases… what has helped me resist is knowing (1) whether it is possible to get a better deal from another retailer and (2) whether there are any “evergreen codes” that I should be aware of (evergreen codes are ongoing discount codes that usually don’t have an expiration date). Sometimes a brand is ONLY available at one online retailer, so if that retailer is having a sale, then I know that that would be a good time to buy that product.  My process is usually to look up what stores stock a brand, and then see if discount codes are available. If the retailers have similar discount codes then I look at shipping costs.

Bottom line is that whenever there is a sale, it is always a good idea to check if there are any better deals before buying it. To help you with that, I wanted to make a post with all of my ongoing discount codes. Then at the end I will provide some other tips for finding some good deals.

Coupon Codes

Here are all the discount codes I have with brands that don’t have an expiration date. So let’s call these the “Evergreen Codes” Most of these are for a percentage off and some are for free shipping.

Amazon Price Alerts

When it comes to tracking price fluctuations on Amazon, you can choose from a couple plugins/websites, but my favorite is Keepa. It is free (they have a premium option but I have never even looked into that because the free version does all I need it to do). They have a browser extension that I love and I recently saw they have an app as well. I really like how right below the product it shows me the price history (see screengrab below). Knowing if the price has remained steady or fluctuated a lot helps me know whether I am getting the best deal. Then, if I see that it dipped down to a certain price in the past, I can click on “track product” and set up a custom price alert (you can choose at whether it emails you when there is any change in price, or only when it drops below a certain price of your choosing).
