Deals on My Top 2 Favorite LED Masks
Choosing between my two favorite LED masks, the Omnilux Men’s Mask and the Current Body Series 2, really boils down to your budget and personal preferences. Both are A+ masks and I love that they both strategically incorporated some 1072nm for some improved well-aging benefits.
In terms of key differences, the CB has the new under the chin strap, different placement of the 1072nm LEDs to have more of a focus under the eyes. I like the smaller mouth hole on the CB and I appreciate the under the chin strap, but I much prefer how the Omnilux lays completely flat in terms of ease of laying it on my chest or other body parts and for storing it (again, personal preference) and I like that Omnilux also put some 1072nm LED in the 11’s between my brows.
You can’t go wrong with either one!
Omnilux Men's Mask - $320

Current Body Series 2 - $375
- FSA/HSA Eligible

Best Deal on Hard Shell Masks
Hard shell masks have the added benefit of needed less adjustments (just slipping on and off your head) and some people prefer how some can press less on the bridge of the nose and isn’t touching your face like a flexible mask does.
TheraFace Mask Glo - $299.99 (with code VANESSA30 starting 11/28)
- FSA/HSA Eligible
- Perks: Can get red + NIR in 4 min or add in blue as needed (for active breakouts) for 8 min total.
- This is essentially a second generation of the original Therabody LED mask that came out 2 years ago but they made it lighter and cheaper and only slightly smaller (which is great, because one of the things I loved about the original mask is that it was the largest hard shell mask I had come across and it provided more coverage than flexible masks as well). They also changed the location of the vibrating nodes so that they arent around the eye, which makes me happy because I didn’t like how those left indent marks on me. And, if you don’t like the vibration, that can be turned off.
- The mask has a default 12-minute treatment that automatically cycles through three LED light treatment types: red light, red + infrared light, and blue light. Each treatment is 4 minutes long. I personally skip the red alone and blue alone and just do the Red + NIR 4 min session.
Shark CryoGlow LED Mask - $297 with code VANESSA
- FSA/HSA Eligible
- If the added benefit of cooling under eye cryo pads sounds more appealing to you than vibration, and you don’t mind a hard shell mask with slightly less coverage along the jaw and eyes, you might like the Shark CryoMask. Full review here.
Best LED Mask UNDER $250
Has 6 modes and 3 intensities (I always use the highest intensity)
Mode 1: Red only (633nm); Mode 2: Yellow only (590nm); Mode 3: Red (633nm) + Blue (415nm) – 30mw/cm2 ; Mode 4: Red (633nm) + Yellow (590nm) – 30mw/cm2; Mode 5: Red (633nm) + NIR (830nm); Mode 6: Yellow (590nm) + NIR (830nm)
- FSA/HSA eligible.
- This mask has lots of modes that are a bit of overkill, but why it is in my picks for evidence-based masks is because it includes a mode that has red (633nm) with NIR (830nm)– so that’s the mode I would end up using.
- If you are looking for a mask that has a mode for blue light, this fits the bill (and it is one of the only mask that also has an optional blue light setting that has a 2 year vs 1 year warranty).
Also, seems minor, but I really like how the remote counts down to tell you how much time is left.
Best Deal on a Mask with an optional Blue Light Setting
My Caveats about Blue Light: I don’t like to use blue light all over my face because it has the potential to cause hyperpigmentation with continued use, so I prefer to spot treat particularly bad pimples with a handheld device that has the ideal, and evidence-based, wavelengths for acne. Also, using a face mask with red and NIR wavelengths can also reduce acne and the associated redness and inflammation–and those wavelengths don’t hold the potential for hyperpigmentation. If you do go for full mask with red and blue wavelengths, keep in mind that those wavelengths are not intended to prevent acne–only to treat mild to moderate acne (and it isn’t intended for whiteheads and blackheads). AND they are only intended to treat it for a short period of time (usually no more than 3-5 times a week for 4-6 weeks). And you want something that has 410-420nm–ideally 415nm–as that has the most evidence.
Click here for a roundup up of other good devices with a blue (415nm) light mode in addition to Red (630) and NIR (830nm).
Equinox Pro Mask - $221 after code
- FSA/HSA Eligible
- This is not only the most affordable option BUT it also is the only mask that has a 2 year warranty.
- See the previous section for more about the mask.
Best Deal on LED Neck Mask
For all the devices shown in the decision tree above, click here.
All of the LED neck and chest devices in that decision tree all use evidence-based wavelengths of Red (630-635nm) and NIR (830nm) and have an evidence-based irradiance (power) and are 10 min sessions. So when it comes down to deciding between which to go with, I think it helps to consider the following:
- Your budget.
- Note: All of the devices are FSA/HSA Eligible except for Nooance and BeautyPie.
- If you want to require the device to have a 2 year warranty (I personally think this is important), or if you are ok with a 1 year warranty (or in BeautyPie’s case, only a 30 day warranty).
- If you want any bonus wavelengths, like 415nm for acne, or deep NIR 1072nm (which could theoretically be beneficial for people with deeper skin tones or thicker skin).
After that, a key differentiator is the coverage/size.
Most masks are all relatively small. The HigherDose, iRestore, Current Body Series 2, and Nooance are all above average in size (the HigherDose is the largest). All of the other masks offer essentially the same coverage.
NOTE: If you have a flexible face mask, you can also just lay your LED face mask on your chest!
My Top 2 Picks for Neck Mask
Higher Dose ($279 w/ code BFCM2025)
Current Body Series 2 ($336 w/ code GOALSLED)
Best Price (If you are ok with only a 30-day Warranty)
- Beauty Pie C-Wave LED Mask For Neck & Décolleté – $169
- $140 + $29 membership, otherwise it is $235 and it is better to go with Equinox Pro.
- Red (630nm ± 10nm) and near infrared (830nm ± 10nm) in a 10 min session.
Best Price (with 2 year warranty)
- Equinox Pro Neck Mask – $221 after code
- FSA/HSA eligible
- Same specs as the face mask (see above for more details).
- Bonus with this is that if you have chest acne, you can use the red + blue setting (in moderation).
Best Deal on a Face + Neck Mask Bundle
Equinox Pro Mask - Lights On, Problems Off Face + Neck Bundle - $319 after code
- FSA/HSA eligible
- Same specs as the face mask (see above for more details).
Best Deal on a LED Lip Device
- I have tried the lip devices by Dr. Dennis Gross and Current Body and this is my favorite because I find the mouth guard the most comfortable to wear and this is also the cheapest! They all have identical key parameters so it really just comes down to cost and comfort. And for me, reVive is the winner. I do like how the Current Body has a little charging stand though, but you have to bite down to hold on to it while using it, and I don’t love that.
- I like the use this for 3 min while I am blow drying my hair to give the collagen in my lips a little boost. The red and NIR can help with fine lines over time.
Best Deal on LED Eye Device
Solawave Eye Recovery Pro LED Light Therapy Eye Mask - $132
- The point of a targeted eye device (versus just having your LED mask target your eyes) is really just about convenience. This is a quick 3 min session and has evidence-based red and NIR wavelengths. Nordstrom has this one on sale for 30% off.
Best Deal on a Handheld LED Device to Spot Treat
reVive Glō Anti-Aging & Acne Wand - $51
- Don’t go for the Solawave (see more about why I would pass on that here) and please skip the ridiculously overpriced Lyma LightStim makes a good handheld options is good, but the reVive is an even cheaper option which has the same wavelengths and irradiance.
- This has a setting for 415nm and 630nm to target pimples and the accompanying inflammation and then it has a red (605nm, 630nm, 660nm) and NIR (830nm and 880nm) setting which is great for wound healing, preventing scars, or targeting specific areas of the face where you have some more prominent wrinkles (like targeting the 11’s would be ideal and easy for a handheld device)
- FSA/HSA eligible
Option 2: Glō Acne - $25
- FSA/HSA Eligible
- 415nm + 630nm
- 3 minute treatment.
- This is the device I initially bought for spot treating stubborn pimples. If you are just wanted to spot treat pimples, you can save some money and just get this one.
Best Deals on LED Devices to Treat your Hands & Body
Current Body Hand Perfector - $200 with code
- FSA/HSA Eligible
- Current Body has the lowest price if you are ok with the device needing to be plugged in (but the perk is that it treats both hands at once). And you can detach the top from the bottom and lay it on your lap or if you were laying down you could also treat your chest.
- Very convenient for treating both hands if you don’t mind having to store a clunky device.
- Keep in mind you can always lay your face, neck or body patch on your hands if you own any of those!
You can also get a mitt that you have to wear for 20 min on each hand for $84
Or you can lay this small flex pad on your hand, one at a time (this pad is super versatile for $116 (after code). My parents use it on their lower back, wrapped around their ankle, or wrapped on their elbow).
If you have ankle or elbow pain that you want to target with red and NIR really easily, my family also really likes this joint wrap for $122 (after code)
Best Deal for LED devices for hair growth
Higher Dose Hat - $359 after BFCM2025
- 20% Off
- This has evidence-based wavelengths AND it is the sleekest and most affordable option for high quality LED devices for hair growth. The others I have test are huge bulky helmets. I much prefer this being in a hat that you can more discreetly wear.
BF Deals on Full Body Panels
HIGHERDOSE | The Full Body Red Light | $959
- 20% Off – $959
- 79” x 41”
- I think a mat like this is much more convenient to use that a panel (I have the full size panel from Gembared found below, but TBH I personally find it incredibly inconvenient to stand naked in front of it for 10 min and then turn around and stand for another 10 min) I think the ability to just lay on this or lay it on top of you makes this a really convenient full body option.
Gembared Bfp 9000 Body-Light Led Panel - $1,490
- 50″ x 15″
- I have their over the door panel and it is high quality. And this is a company I trust to make high quality panels with third-party testing.
Current Body LED Light Therapy Panel - $879
- 18″ x 9″
- This has 415nm (blue) so you can treat body acne, and it also includes the deeper NIR wavelength of 1072nm. I think the size is great in terms of coverage, while still being easy to store. But it is still pretty pricey when you consider the total size. But it is unique in its specs and design.
